About CognitiveIQ
A Seoul practice built around offline wallet performance journaling — quiet rooms, written decisions, and investors who prefer self-custody over exchange comfort.
Why this desk exists
CognitiveIQ started from a simple frustration: self-custody investors in Korea and abroad kept meticulous hardware habits, then made allocation changes with almost no written trail. Market commentary filled the gap. Journals did not.
We chose a narrow lane — offline wallet performance journaling and allocation review — and kept it human. No trading desk. No custodial product. No screen that pretends to replace your own judgment.
How we work
Sessions happen at our Jung-gu address or by remote video. The tone is closer to a research seminar than a sales meeting. We ask for position summaries and prior notes. We refuse seed phrases. We write decisions down before anyone leaves the room.
Our method borrows from field-research note-taking: dated entries, explicit reservations, and a clear link between each holding sleeve and the rule that justifies it. Rainy evenings in Seoul are not marketing wallpaper — they match the pace we prefer: slower reading, fewer interruptions.
People
Work is led by practitioners who have spent years advising long-horizon holders on record-keeping and policy clarity — not on predicting the next move. When a question needs tax counsel or legal drafting, we say so and introduce specialists rather than stretching our brief.
Values we keep visible
- Separation — keys and journals never share a channel with us
- Specificity — advice tied to your stated rules, not generic market essays
- Reversibility — every suggested change is optional and documented
- Local grounding — fees, scheduling, and governing law sit in the Republic of Korea
